God wants us to know and believe that he loves us. And he wants us to love him in return 1 Jn. 4:16, 19.

If we do not believe God loves us, we will not love him as he desires.

If we love the Lord because he first loved us, it inspires us to keep his word Jn. 14:15.

Doing God’s word is a blessing, not a burden, when we do it out of love 1 Jn. 5:3.

God’s love for us helps us persevere through tribulations with hope Rom. 5:3-5.

I believe we can project our ways, our experiences, and limitations on to God. We can think that he loves and responds to us or others in ways we would.

*Do you believe God loves you?

*If so, why do you believe he loves you?

Our beliefs of God affect how we receive God’s love, how we respond to God’s love, and how close we are to him.

Please think about it.

Eph. 3:19 NLT “May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.”
