On June 24, 2022, The U. S. Supreme Court ruled that “The Constitution does not confer a right to abortion; Roe and Casey are overruled; and the authority to regulate abortion is returned to the people and their elected representatives.”

“Until the latter part of the 20th century, there was no support in American law for a constitutional right to obtain an abortion. No state constitutional provision had recognized such a right. Indeed, abortion had long been a crime in every single State.”

Justice Samuel Alito wrote, “Roe was egregiously wrong from the start. Its reasoning was exceptionally weak.”

Scientifically, life begins at conception. In Life by Design, the authors say for all the time that the embryo develops it is entirely alive. The efficient functions of the 11 organ systems comes from the single-celled zygote that you once were.

Since the unborn baby is a human life, just at the earliest stages of development, should not he or she have a chance to live? What about the baby’s right to life?

The Word of God teaches that humans are created by, and in the image of God (Genesis 1:27). Therefore, we have intrinsic value. God sees us as we develop in our mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-18).

Children are a blessing (Psalm 127:3).

Will you reflect on these words from Dr. Michael Brown, and pray?

“Whole generations of women have been born into a pro-abortion culture, to the point that it is not just an accepted moral right. It has also become a sacred rite.

May love overcome hatred.

May the Lord make a separation between those who choose life and those who choose death.

And may the Church rise up and make an even more compelling case for the humanity of the baby in the womb, also offering even more compassionate care and hope to expectant moms and dads who are contemplating abortion.

May life prevail!”
